“The man that finds a wife finds a treasure.” “The man that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing.”
Proverbs 18:22. So many ways to say the same thing but what we know as being true is this groom found his bride! He found his queen! They are the perfect match!
Immediately, we were able to kick start the planning process and it was nothing but great vibes from day one which is always the best way to start a wedding planner/client relationship. We met her mother and fiancé early on and the groom expressed his only request! Whenever the groom provides his two cents, we have it and give him what he wants! This groom just wanted “the lights!” Up-lights! Wise choice as you all know, up-lighting can transform any room and create the ambiance you are seeking for your special event.
Once the wedding weekend finally arrived, it could not have been a prettier day! The days prior, it was actually cold but this day, February 12, 2016, there was nothing but sunshine!!! We arrived onsite, arranged our centerpieces and décor and as soon as guests started arriving, they were blown away by the transformation of this venue. We created a unique floorplan to have the ceremony take place inside and still maintained the long aisle, so that we would not compromise the dramatic entrance. Family and friends witnessed this beautiful union and this may have been one of the sweetest, heart felt ceremonies we were able to participate in.
