Royal Tip: Choose your Bridal Party Wisely
December 31, 2017 • Royal Tips
Deal Royal Followers,
We are super glad you came back for more royal tips. I suppose we are doing something right lol. Today, we wanted to touch on a topic that many may NOT want to hear or may NOT want to shed light; but the reality is this. It's your special day. Choose Your Bridal Party Wisely.
That's right, we said it. When selecting your girls (guys) to be by your side on your special day, please, please, please, take your time and think hard as to whom you would like to honor by selecting them to be part of your wedding party. There are no general rules or amendments that state "I've known her (him) the longest" or "I was in his (or her) wedding so I must return the favor." Nope-that's not how this goes. From all the lead up events, the bridal party should be your support system; your crew that keeps you sane through this planning process; the squad that puts out fires when any drama occurs; the beehive that always has your back. Their number one goal should be to serve and assist you. That was once the true definition of a bridesmaid (or groomsmen). Take the time, reflect, and then make your decision wisely. Hope you enjoyed this #RoyalTip

The Karen Tran Master Floral Experience| Santorini, Greece [Part 2]

Dear Royal Followers,
Okay, okay, we already know what you are thinking. We totally slacked off on filling you guys in on our Karen Tran experience in Santorini, Greece. To provide a brief recap on Part 1, we spent day 1 primarily focused on the "KT technique"; we indulged in local cuisine and enjoyed several local delectables; we networked and had the lovely opportunity to meet several industry professionals in which we have connected with since this experience.
Was the experience worth the hefty price tag? Depends on how you want to look at it. We did take a few tips from this experience in which we utilize today. We made the decision to attend as an investment in our craft; to learn from one of the best so we can one day be amongst the best. In addition, we all have always dreamt of visiting Santorini. This opportunity brought together four friends to see a different side of the world and it was ohhhhh so heavenly. Yes, it was worth it. Opportunities like this are absolutely priceless.
Our final day was entirely spent on the assembly and production of the largest floral arch one has seen in life. Thousands of flowers (from tulips, roses, phaleonopsis orchids, garden roses, hydrangeas, peonies, etc.) were processed and used to create this beautiful structure. All of our favorite florals were in one place! A florists dream! Upon completion of all decor elements, we quickly prepared for the Gala. We came to slay and not play games. Take a look at the beautiful images captured by local the photography team Kollektiva Photography and comment below to let us know your thoughts. Also, special thanks to Modish Weddings & Events and last but not least, the Karen Tran team for an amazing experience!

Dear Royal Followers,
We have a beautiful love story and wedding planning experience worth sharing. M & D’s destination wedding is proof that the journey is half the fun. When these two love birds met, it was instantly love at first sight. Her funny matched his funny; his goofiness matched her goofiness. We knew that this was pure, true love. Eventually, Mr. D decided to pop the question and with the children’s blessings, proceeded to begin the wedding planning. She contacted us immediately. Our bride was super easy going and fun to work with. She knew what she wanted, and we made sure she got all her hearts desires. She was a classic bride who wore an elegant/stunning strapless gown which was perfect for their historic courthouse wedding. For the reception, she always dreamt of having turquoise, bling, and feathers. Well, we gave her that and then some. One last detail she wanted to capture was her love story depicted on her wedding cake. Each tier tells a story: Guy meets Girl; Guy & Girl fall in love; Guy proposes to Girl; Guy & Girl get married. While all of this is going down, they had their kids with them by their side. We love how Party Flavors Cakes captured that here. Take a look at the beautiful wedding images provided by Eva's Photo Studio and be inspired!

Royal Tip: Listen to Thy Planner, Please!
December 6, 2017
Dear Royal Followers,
First of all, Happy Monday!!!!!
We wanted to bring up a hard, yet necessary topic for anyone currently planning a wedding (or special event). Apologies in advance if anyone gets offended but this is straight from the heart and we really mean well. That's why are clients (past and current) love us; for our candidness and honesty. There's no sugar coating over here.
Here's the deal. You enlisted the services of your wedding (or special event) planner for a reason. Trust Thy Planner! Yes, trust US. We have over 15 years of combined experience. As of late, we have been seeing on many wedding planning group boards/chats, brides attempting to educate each other on what "they think" should be done and how to handle this and that. Of course, there may be a few seasoned brides who are familiar with the overall process but, most of the brides in the chat, its there first wedding. It's hopefully their last and only wedding! We read the comments and sit back shaking our heads because the opinions of few, may ruin the wedding of their dreams. If this is your cup of tea, go ahead but if you do want to utilize your hired wedding (or special event) planner to their full capacity, trust us.
Why trust us? Well, here's a few reasons why:
-We come with valuable information that we are eager to share with you to save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars
-We value each and every client as if they are our own family members so its always an emotional moment for us once the wedding arrives because we know its the beginning of the couples new life together and also, the end of the planning process; so bittersweet
-We have built many vendor relationships and have insight on who's hot and who's not (i.e. legit, trustworthy vendors, etc.)
-We have your back! We have your best interest in mind
-We keep you on track (i.e. budget and overall time-line)
-We make this a stress free process, only if you listen to us
Thanks for tuning into this special public service announcement. As we are promptly responding to our brides questions and beacon call, please know if you are reading this and ever have a question, never hesitate to contact us today!
