Real Royal Weddings: Enchanted Garden meets Regal

Dear Royal Followers,
Many little girls have a glimpse of their wedding, in their
adolescent dreams, and the hope is for one day, those dreams can come close to
reality. Some dream of a fairytale inspired wedding, wearing a princess gown;
others dream of a winter wonderland wedding, with icicles hanging around. Our
bride dreamt of a romantic enchanted garden wedding it hopes to use the beauty
of nature alongside lanterns, manzanita trees, and floating candles.
Of course, you’ve heard our gripes about the damage Hurricane
Hermine caused so we won’t repeat that over and over again, but for those just
now reading up and visiting our page for the first time, long story short, our
original venue was shut down due to the damage caused from strong winds, heavy
rains, and tornados that touched down. Power outages occurred as power lines
were down. In 48 hours, we had to find a new venue for our client. We did!
The Doubletree downtown Tallahassee opened their arms and venue to allow us to
conduct both the ceremony and reception on site!
Now that you are all caught up… back to the details. We
incorporated lush greens and moss, a plethora of candles, and an array of
florals such as dahlias, hydrangeas, spray roses to bring this romantic look
together. No detail was left untouched from our customized menu cards to the
green ruscus garnished alongside the beaded charger plates, we ensured this
wedding was nothing short of perfection. The couple had already been through so
much so we went above and beyond to make this wedding planned to perfection
with a golden touch. Take a look and be inspired!

It's amazing how God
works. Quick story: Hurricane Hermine caused our original wedding venue to be shut down by
the city due to power lines and trees being knocked down. We still took the risk of driving from Tampa to ensure we made this wedding
happen no matter what. Upon arrival, we saw things the news did not even
display. 80k+people being without power truly was an understatement. Many
families lost their homes as well. Our hotel had no power. We still
hit the ground running going from venue to venue in hopes we found a new place
with their wedding date still available and that was safe/still had power. We
thankfully received a call back from Jeri #thedoubletreedowntowntallahassee She
was heaven sent! She opened her venue and her arms to allowing us to make this
enchanted wedding still happen for this bride. WE truly were blessed to have

Real Royal Wedding: First Love. Last Love...Priceless

We worked with this bride for several months to ensure we gave her the wedding of her dreams.

Dear Royal Followers!
It’s that time of year again. Leaves
will soon begin to start changing colors and falling from the trees; the nights
will become cooler; that’s when you know fall is near…our favorite time of the
year quite frankly, as wedding planners/floral designers. Summertime is great
but let’s be real; it’s just too dog gone hot for comfort. As a segway to the
upcoming fall months, we decided to select a non-traditional “fall-esque” color
palette. We love the orange/brown hues but what’s our motto “dare to be
different!” We are practicing what we preach or this edition of Royal Colors of
the month. We’ve selected navy, eggplant, accompanied with accents of gold.
When we think of this color palette, it can go in multiple directions: we think
of the artsy style weddings (or special events) or even an enchanted garden
styled wedding.
You just have to decide, what kind
of bride (or groom) are you! So, without further ado, this post
is dedicated to all of our September brides/grooms getting married out there!

We had the opportunity to be granted creative control over the floral/decor aspect. Our favorite element discussed during this consultation was the interest of our acrylic mandap. Set up by the bay, with florals such as hydrangeas, wisteria, and ruscus cascading down, made a magical scene. It looked like flowers were floating on air. We had
complete creative control which you guys know we absolutely LOVE! This couple
